We’re excited to announce that our very own Kathy Saker and Kristin Stapleton, coaches at Paradigm, have just become Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coaches through the ICHWC!
The International Consortium for Health & Wellness Coaching (ICHWC) is a national organization that has paved the way in science-based wellness training, education, and research in the U.S. Since 2010, the institution has led the country in transforming the way life coaches can help others.
In September 2017, the ICHWC formed a partnership with the National Board of Medical Examiners to launch the National Board Certification for Health & Wellness Coaches (NBC-HWC). The NBC-HWC provides foundational information to health and wellness coaches, including the tasks and skills they need to effectively guide clients.
This means coaches have undergone an extensive training and assessment process where they learn how to provide individuals with self-directed, lasting changes that promote health and enhance well-being. Once certified, coaches are more able to assess their clients with intelligence, expertise, and positivity to renew the lives of those they help.
Becoming a Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach is a challenging feat, which is why we are proud to say we have six!
Here are some more interesting statistics about the NBC-HWC:
Congratulations to Kathy and Kristin on this accomplishment! We’re honored to have such a talented team who’s dedicated to providing clients with well-rounded, informative, and effective guidance.
